Alexandra Hills State School

T&T recently completed the refurbishment and extension of the tuckshop at Alexandra Hills State High School for the Department of Education in Queensland and Honeywill Consulting. The scope included full demolition of the old facility, construction of a modern, expanded food service space, installation of new cold rooms, upgraded dry storage, and a covered external walkway for improved access.

A key challenge on this project was the extensive hydraulic and plumbing upgrade, which required the installation of new grease arrestors and complex in-ground drainage works. Working within existing site constraints

Delivered in a live school environment, the works were meticulously staged to maintain the safety of students and staff while keeping the school’s daily operations uninterrupted.
